ONEPLUS 8 PRO - Better Than S20!?

The one plus 8 pro may actually, be coming with a better display than the s20 and I'll share all the details right after this. If you're new here and want to stay up to date with the latest tech please hit like & followed by our page.  So we've just had news that the galaxy s20 is not going to support 2k resolution at 120 hertz and oneplus have confirmed that the oneplus 8 will yesterday oneplus held an event the oneplus 2020 screen technology meeting where they showcased their next-generation screen technologies.

Oneplus have always provided satisfactory displays on their devices but they have received a little bit of criticism in the past. This is all set to change however given some big developments in their technology to provide us with a more premium display.  The new display technology was revealed at that boasts a 2k o led panel with a refresh rate of 120 hertz and a screen sampling rate of 240 hertz which is currently the highest in the industry.

We do hope that this is not going to be the case we've also had a leaked benchmark appear for the oneplus 8 pro with 12 gigabytes of ram this was using geekbench 4 and it's a huge improvement. Over its predecessor we get a single core score of four thousand two hundred and ninety six and a multi-core score of twelve thousand five hundred and thirty-one and this compared to the oneplus7 pro's at three five four three single and eleven thousand two sixty multi. We also have news of a new optimized charging for the oneplus 8 that current oneplus users can actually, test in their beta software. The new optimized charging is going to charge the device to eighty percent charge overnight it will then pause the charging and a hundred minutes before your normal wake-up time or a hundred minutes before the first alarm that set the phone will charge to full what fast charging is very convenient, it does hunt battery life in the long run so this is just one plus attempt to help with that.

Of course when it comes to the oneplus 8 range this year, we're getting three variants and we may even see the oneplus concept.  One if we start with the more affordable what the oneplus 8 lite is the first time oneplus have ever delivered a lite model so it's gonna be interesting to see how it performs. In terms of sales on the front of the oneplus 8 lite we've got a full screen display with a single punch hole camera the display is going to be a super amoled e to display coming in its six-point four inches it's a full hd plus resolution of 1080x2400 and it's gonna have a 90 hertz. Refresh rate along with an in-display fingerprint scanner it's believed that the selfie camera on the oneplus 8 lite is going to be the 16 megapixel sony imx471, when it comes to the rear we've got a different camera arrangement on the oneplus 8 lite. It was initially thought that we get a dual camera setup on this device but recent news and photos claim the oneplus 8 lite is gonna have a triple camera setup we get a 48 megapixel sony imx586 with an aperture of f/4 point 7.

We get a 16 megapixel ultra wider with an aperture of f-22 and we get a 12 megapixel telephoto lens with an aperture of f28 4 and it's gonna support both optical and electronic image stabilization. We've got the power button and the alert slider on the right-hand side of the phone with the volume buttons on the left in the phone is a course powered by usb type-c and there's no three and a half mil headphone jack what many was speculating that the oneplus 8 lite was going to be powered by the snapdragon 765.

The latest reports claimed it's going to be using media text immensity 1000 system-on-chip coupled with eight gigs of ram and a choice of 128 or 256 storage and this will of course be uf s3. The phone dimensions are reportedly gonna be a hundred and fifty-nine point two by seventy-four by eight point six millimeters making it smaller than the one plus seven and it's reported can be powered up by a four thousand milliamp-hour battery with support for 30-watt fast charging.

The oneplus 8 light comes in two variants and it's expected the eight gigs of ram with 128 storage is going to be just four hundred and twenty-eight dollars and we eight gigs of ram with 256 storage will be four hundred and seventy-two next up we've got the standard oneplus 8 when it comes to the standard oneplus 8. We can see it looks very similar to the previous models although this time it they've decided to go with the punch hole camera instead of the knots, were used to seeing for the first time ever we'll be getting a curved display on the standard model and in new source claims the oneplus 8 is going to be a six point four inch 120 hertz fluid amoled display.

It's gonna be a full hd plus resolution of 1440 by 31 40 and it will of course have an in display fingerprint scanner a new report claims the selfie camera in the oneplus 8 is going to be a 32 megapixels sony imx616 as you can see.  They've gone with a triple camera setup on the rear of the oneplus 8 and start with the vertical alignment. We used to seeing the oneplus 8 will be coming with :

• A 64 megapixel sony imx6 86 with an aperture of f/16 as the primary sensor.
• We get a 20 megapixel ultra wider with an aperture of f-22 and finally a 12 megapixel telephoto with an aperture of f28 four.
• Five times hybrid zoom the oneplus 8 again has the power button and the alert slider on the right with the volume rocker on the left and the sim tray can be found at the bottom the device is powered by the snapdragon 860 5 and the x 55 modem meaning that we get 5g support on the standard oneplus 8.
• It should be coming with the choice of eight or twelve gigs of ram and 128 or 256 storage which will again be you fs3.

It's going to be powered by a four thousand milliamp hour battery with support for 30 fast charging and the phone dimensions come in at 160 two point six by seventy five point nine by 8.8 millimeters and we get stereo speakers on the oneplus 8. The price of the oneplus 8 with eight gigs of ram and 128 storage is expected to be five hundred and twenty eight dollars for eight gigs of ram with 256 storage. Were expecting 571 $ dollars and for twelve gigs of ram with 256 storage or expecting 614$ dollars finally. We put the premium model of the range the oneplus 8 pro on the front we've got the same oled screen curved display and while earlier leaks believe the oneplus 8 pro was gonna have a single punch hole camera in the top left. We now believe this could be two the display is gonna be a six point seven inch 120 hertz fluid and a led display it's gonna be a full hd plus resolution of 1440 by 30 140 and it will of course have an in display fingerprint scanner the new report claims the selfie camera is gonna be the 32 megapixel sony imx6 one six and this will be along with a 3d time-of-flight camera the oneplus 8 pro is gonna be the first from oneplus to feature a quad camera set up.

On the rear it's gonna come with a 64 megapixel sony imx6 86 with an aperture of f/16 of the primary sensor, we get a 20 megapixel ultra wider with an aperture of f28 to a 12 megapixel telephoto with an aperture of f28 for along with 10 times hybrid zoom and finally another 3d time-of-flight depth sensor. The device will again be powered by the snapdragon 865 along with the ex 55 modem meaning we do get 5g support and it should be coming with the choice of eight or twelve gigs of ram and 128 or 256 storage.

Which again is uf s3 we've got the power button and the alert slider on the right with the volume rocker on the left battery capacity is reportedly gonna be 4500 milliamp hours and support for 35 watt fast charging again. We get stereo speakers on the oneplus 8 pro and it's going to measure in at 165 point three by seventy four point four by 8.8 millimeters so the same thickness as its predecessor this could mean we again do not get wireless but at this point we still don't know.

Oneplus have always stayed away from wireless charging but it does seem to be a common request judging by consumer comments the oneplus 8 pro is gonna come with the same ram and storage configurations as the standard oneplus 8 so we get eight gigs of ram with 128 storage for 714 dollars we get eight gigs of ram with 256 storage at first seven hundred and eighty six dollars. Finally we get twelve gigs of ram with 256 storage for eight hundred and fifty eight dollars of course all three phones are gonna ship with android 10 in the form of oxygen os.

It's great that we now know pretty much everything about the oneplus 8 range and hopefully it will help you guys out who are trying to decide on what phone to buy next i hope however that oneplus do still have some surprises at launch.
