Head of the company SpaceX Ilon Mask published on his page on Twitter two beautiful pictures of a fantasy genre. One of them illustrates the vision of the innovator of the "Martian Alpha Base". The second one shows the takeoff from the Red Planet of a huge rocket, in which it is possible to learn BFR - the most promising SpaceX spacecraft.
As far as artistic images are close to real projects, it is extremely difficult to say - for now, these are just concepts. Yes, and the buildings look too large so that something like this could be built in the near future.
Recall - in the plans of the Mask launch of the first unmanned missions to Mars in 2020-2022. They must prepare a springboard for the human colony, the start of which can be given approximately in 2024th. But for this it is necessary that the super-powerful BFR rocket begin flying in 2019, and with this there were difficulties.
Another interesting detail - earlier, in 2017, SpaceX already showed conceptual images of colonies on the Moon and the first settlements on Mars. These pictures were quickly deleted, but according to the scattered copies on the Internet, it can be judged that the BFR rocket of the 2017 sample differs from the version of 2018. In particular, the tail empennage has now become noticeably larger. Perhaps it's just the artist's fantasy - and perhaps the leakage of data from a real rocket project.
